New Hampshire Disability Discrimination Law – 1st in the Nation

On May 7, 2015, New Hampshire became the first state in the nation to pass legislation prohibiting employers from paying sub minimum wage to individuals with disabilities.  The passage of this legislation changed law that had been in place for decades and allowed this practice.

If you are an employer and have questions about the payment of wages or hiring of individuals with disabilities, please contact us for a free workplace law consultation.  As always, if we can help, we will.  If we cannot, we will do our best to direct you to someone who can.
